Service-Based Socio-Cyberphysical Network Modeling for Guided Self-Organization
AbstractSocio-cyberphysical networks tightly integrate humans, real-world objects and IT infrastructure. In some cases of cyberphysical networks, their configuration can be done in a centralized way (e.g., automated production line configuration). However, for socio-cyberphysical networks the centralized control is not possible due to the independence and autonomy of the network members (e.g., employees of an enterprise). The paper proposes an approach to model such network via a set of interacting socio-inspired services. Such services are capable to model behavior of the network participants taking into account their preferences, strategies and social norms. The interoperability of the services is achieved due to the usage of common standards (such as WSDL and SOAP) at the technological level, and common ontology at the semantic level. The developed conceptual model of socio-inspired service is presented together with behavior patterns and methods for their processing
CompetenceβBased Support of Interaction between Business Network Members
In a complicated business network finding a supplier can be a very time consuming task. The
technology of competence management is aimed to support such kind of tasks. The paper presents an approach
to support interaction between business network members based on such technologies as competence
management and knowledge management. The conceptual models of the context-driven competence
management system and production network member competence profile are described. The usage of the
competence management system is illustrated via an example from automotive industry
Digital Signage Personalization through Analysis of the Visual Information about Viewers
Digital signage has been gaining more and more popularity. However, personalization of digital signage is still challenging and it is getting even more difficult with the appearance of low regulating the ways of personal data storage and processing. Most advertisement frameworks can detect general information about viewers such as age and gender that is not enough to recognize his/her real interests. There are efforts aimed at detection of emotions and prediction interests based on the mood as well as usage of modern 3D cameras for collecting distance to the viewers and their heights. Also, the topic of detection logotypes in images is getting more popular. In this paper, we are researching possibilities of integrating possible information collection techniques for better prediction of viewers' interests. These are integrated into the concept of the system that contains human detection, analytics, advertisement, and statistic modules
Smart space logistic service for real-time ridesharing
The paper describes a logistic service-based approach to real-time ridesharing based on smartspace concept. Smart-M3 information platform is used as smart space infrastructure for presented approach. The service is based on Smart-M3 RDF ontology which is formed by ontology slices of participants' mobile devices. The paper presents an algorithm for finding appropriate fellow- travelers for drivers as well as definition of acceptable pick-up and drop-off points for them
Intelligent tourist guiding service based on Smart-M3 platform
The paper proposes an intelligent tourist guiding service based on the Smart-M3 information platform and context management technology. It suggests attractions that are better to attend based on the tourist preferences and current situation in the region. The Smart-M3 platform implements a concept of the smart space providing the information sharing infrastructure in the intelligent tourist guiding service. The smart space is a decentralized infrastructure that allows different devices to share required information between them. The main benefit of the presented approach is to assist tourists in the region using their personal mobile devices. Such mobile devices need only Internet connection and capability to show appropriate information to tourists
Mobile application for guiding tourist activities: tourist assistant - TAIS
The paper presents category classification of mobile travel applications accessible at the moment for tourists in application stores for most popular mobile operation systems (Android and iOS). The most interesting category is "Travel Guides" that combines "Information Resources" and "Location-Based Services" category. Authors propose application "Tourist assistant - TAIS" that is related to "Travel Guides" category and recommends the tourist attractions around. Information about attractions is extracted from different internet sources
Recommendation system for tourist attraction information service
The paper proposes a description of information decision support system in the tourism domain and a set of methods and algorithms for generating recommendations for a user that allow significant increase of the system usability. The system generates for the user recommendations which attractions at the moment are better to attend based on the user preferences and the current situation in the location area. The system also allows showing the user information about interesting attraction in more detail, which is based on analyzing information evaluations made by other users
